Biography

My name is Karen Lea Bergstrom and I am with Finance

Insurance, Ltd. here in the Kailua-Kona Branch. I have

been in insurance for over 35 years and specialize in both personal and commercial

insurance. I can find the correct coverage to meet needs for all types of properties;

primary and secondary homes, condos, as well as farms, high valued homes, long term

or vacation rentals, in lava zones, hurricane, earthquake and flood planes.

If you need help with workers compensation, temporary disability, general liability,

business property or automobiles, there are many different package programs.

Many programs for contractors, retail establishments, restaurants, hotels, including

employee benefits and life insurance needs, start with very low minimum premiums.

Originally from Southern California, I happily moved my life here to Hawaii in the early

90’s. To an island that I love and a home where I can do all my favorite things like golf,

swimming, snorkeling, camping and hiking. Sometimes I like just enjoying being at

home in Waikoloa Village gardening, walking the dog or cooking and spending even

more time with my family and friends.

I really care about helping my clients. A client that I have had for close to 15 years has

a non-profit foundation called Jonathan Helpers. We help needy families during the

holidays. We feed over three hundred families at Thanksgiving and Christmas as well

as, give the children presents at Christmas.

The foundation was set up when my clients lost a grandchild to cancer. Jonathan’s

dying wish was to provide those in need at the holidays with joy. It always makes me

feel good when I can help others and their special needs.
